The Conference on the Future of Europe is a year-long dialogue between citizens and the EU, finishing in a plenary session in the European Parliament. This is a huge opportunity for young people, as they can share their ideas with each other, put their concerns into words, and then make suggestions about priorities and challenges in open forums. The recommendations made during the year will also be discussed by the leaders of the EU and the member states. We have reached a milestone, let's make the most of it! Join us too!

Have you had an idea in a long time? Or do you think prioritizing some topics would be more important? Then tell us your suggestions and let us shape the future of Europe together.

I STAND FOR INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABLE HOSPITALITY

Albert is the co-founder of Munch, Hungary’s no. 1 food-saving app through which he made it to the cover of the Hungarian Forbes Magazine. His vision is to build a more sustainable hospitality industry in the region, where no food is wasted. He highlights the multiple negative impacts of food waste as food production consumes high amounts of resources, energy and produces greenhouse gases. If food is even thrown away, huge amounts of pure, environmentally harmful waste is created directly and indirectly as well.

Junior vineyard manager

I STAND FOR SUSTAINABLE FARMING

László lives and works on the southern shore of Lake Balaton in Hungary as a junior vineyard manager at Kristinus Wine Estate. He studied viticulture and oenology during his university studies. In 2019, he took part in Erasmus+ programmes in Germany which helped him change his vision about agriculture. Since then, he stands for sustainable and biodynamic farming and tries to cultivate the community of agriculture around Lake Balaton. According to him, all of us will realize that nature is the source of our well-being in the long run, thus we need to take care of it.
